All custom pieces begin with a design consultation to outline dimensions, materials, and aesthetic direction. A design concept or rendering will be provided for approval before work begins. Any changes requested after design approval may affect pricing and lead time.

 2. Materials & Natural Variations

Wood is a natural material, and each piece will have its own unique grain patterns, color shifts, knots, and textures. These variations are not defects—they are part of the character of handcrafted furniture. Results will align with the approved design direction, but minor aesthetic differences are inherent.

3. Timeline & Lead Times

Lead times vary based on material availability and design complexity. An estimated completion date will be provided after design approval. This estimate may shift due to unforeseen factors; any changes will be communicated promptly

4. Payments & Deposits

A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to secure materials and begin the process. The remaining balance is due upon completion and prior to delivery or pickup. Work will not begin until the deposit is received

5. Revisions & Change Requests

One round of minor revisions is included during the design phase. Major changes or additional revisions may incur charges and extend timelines. Changes cannot be made once construction begins.

6. Delivery, Installation & Pickup

Delivery and installation are available and quoted separately. If picked up, proper transport and handling are the client’s responsibility. Onsite adjustments outside project scope may incur additional fees.

7. Warranty & Care

Pieces include a one-year craftsmanship warranty covering structural integrity. Damage from improper use or environmental conditions is not covered. A care and maintenance guide will be provided.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

Custom pieces are non-refundable. Deposits may be non-refundable depending on when the cancellation notice was received. If canceled after materials are purchased or work has begun, the client is responsible for costs incurred.

9. Communication

Regular updates are sent out each Monday.  These updates will include status updates, progress pictures (if requested), and upcoming work for the week.  Clients are encouraged to reach out with any questions.
